Hello, Ohio

We made it! Yesterday morning (12/29), Shaun and I woke up at 2:30am to get ready for the big move. We left Ft. Payne around 5am, each driving separate vehicles, and after a long and tiring 9 hour drive, we made it to Mansfield! This place is covered with snow, which is so beautiful...and so cold! 16 degrees cold. Yikes! This will definitely be an adjustment but we are very excited. I have a job interview today! More details to come on that. Here's a couple of pictures outside of our apartment. SNOW! Oh, and we miss everyone! :)

Pictures of our apartment in Ohio

Ahhh!!! Finally, we received a few photos of our apartment in Mansfield! I'm so excited to decorate! It looks awesome! Definitely an upgrade from the pink house...ha! And we have a closet--a real one! We will upload more photos once we get up there, but here's a few to tie you over until the big move! Get excited!!!! :)

We're moving....and blogging!

Hi everyone! As most of you know, Shaun and I are moving to Mansfield, Ohio, on December 29th, 2009. Yes, we know it’s going to be freezing up there, but we’ve got our gloves and jackets on deck! We are super excited about this new adventure in our journey together and we want all of you to journey with us. So, check back regularly to see what The Hills have been up to! We are confident that this is where God is leading us and we pray for strength and comfort as we say “goodbye” (for now at least) to our families and friends. This is certainly a bittersweet transition for us…I will definitely miss my family, new (and old) friends, and my sweet kiddos at work, but we are excited to kick-off 2010 with a new home in a new city with a new job and a new church family!! Wow! Thank you to everyone who has kept us in your prayers during the last few months. Shaun and I have already experienced some storms in our life as newlyweds, but we know that our Savior is bigger and more powerful than all of that and we will continue to follow His will and calling in our life. We will prevail!

Countdown to blast-off: 15 days!!
